Game Night Kerpen - Interactive LED floor

The Game Night manager and his team reached out to Street Communication to equip four newly built rooms within their arcade center, with the goal of introducing an innovative activity that combines lighting and speed for an immersive gaming experience.

The on-site team had already prepared detailed design plans for each room, outlining the integration of an interactive LED floor, LCD monitors for real-time reports, and speakers to further enhance visitor engagement.

To bring this vision to life, we selected our Interactive LED Floor Tiles (Color Tiles)—a dynamic solution that instantly lights up upon touch. Recently added to our catalog, this product offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional interactive video floors, while still delivering a high-quality experience. Like all LED floors, it requires ample space—something Game Night Kerpen had in abundance, making it the perfect setting for this new attraction.

Using the provided architectural drawings, StreetCo’ began designing the four interactive rooms, ensuring the best use of space and technology to create an engaging and unforgettable experience for visitors.

The concept was to create four uniquely sized rooms, each fully covered with interactive LED floor tiles and featuring custom-designed games tailored to the space.

Final Room Layout & Dimensions

– Room 1: 3.86 x 3.86 meters (3600 x 3600 mm) – 12×12 tiles

– Room 2: 3.26 x 3.86 meters (3000 x 3600 mm) – 10×12 tiles

– Room 3: 3.86 x 7.13 meters (3600 x 6900 mm) – 12×23 tiles

– Room 4: 7.42 x 7.42 meters (7200 x 7200 mm) – 24×24 tiles

Total: 1,116 interactive LED floor tiles

Each room is equipped with:

– A computer and software to control the game mechanics

– Power supplies ensuring seamless operation

– Wall-mounted monitors for real-time feedback

– Ceiling speakers for immersive audio effects

– A start button to launch the game

Game Mechanics & Experience

Each room features a custom-designed, 10-level game with three difficulty settings. Players must:

– Step on the correct color tiles at the right moment
– Avoid stepping on red tiles
– Combine precision and speed to progress through the levels
