In the middle of 2022, StreetCo was contacted by Soixante Circuits to collaborate on a corporate event held in Paris, specifically at the Galeries Eric Dupont.
Soixante Circuits is a creative studio that specializes in video content creation and offers immersive and innovative experiences. Their clients trust them with the management of their image, focusing on evolutionary designs of spaces, retail experiences, and the creation of innovative objects and events.Since 2008, Soixante Circuits has been deploying its expertise in custom, out-of-the-ordinary projects, making a name for itself in multidisciplinary development. Their ability to push boundaries has made them a leader in the creation of immersive and interactive client experiences, which have become increasingly popular in today’s market.
The event took place at Galeries Eric Dupont, a gallery founded 32 years ago by Éric Dupont. In the early 1990s, the gallery emerged as a significant space in Paris, showcasing young artists with a strong focus on formal research in pictorial expression.This collaboration was an opportunity to bring immersive technologies into an artistic and cultural venue, blending the worlds of art, innovation, and client engagement.

Context / environment

Memorable boat rides by mixing Nature, sound and video by installing a giant LED screen outdoors on one of their bridges. We needed to created a custom waterproof screen that fit perfectly with the shapes of this existing bridge. The screens needed to be suspended 2.5 meters from the water. For this to be made as safe as possible we had to design a perfect support structure for the screens, in partnership with Idscenes, that woud facilitate the installation method and re-insure the client that the screen will not fall in the water at a certain point.

Solution

We studied the plans of the Bridge concerned and the average viewing distance of the visitors and decided to use a P10 outdoor LED aluminum screen using 320mmLx160mmH modules. 37 LED panels with a height each between 2m and 3m depending on their positioning (middle or extremeties of the bridge).
StreetCommunication chose a high quality product for this project to avoid any frequent maintenance intervention due to the fact that the installation location was difficult to reach for the engineers and techniciens (suspended on top of a river).
We closely worked with the content developpers as well to ensure that everything will look like expected by the developers and the client. We did some testings in our warehouse and showroom with products we had in stock to explain in details how everything will work and be displayed on the screen. The design on this giant outdoor screen is quite original because the content will be displayed on the screen considering some gaps in between each of the 37 panels, called « ghost parts », that will need to be considered by the developers for the mapping, to have a content that will not be distorted by the gaps.
