LED Wall Studio & Virtual Production House in Aubervilliers

Opening an studio virtual production house

Client : virtual production studio

Virtual Production House (VPH), a subsidiary of Street Communication, was created as part of Street Co’s strategy to diversify by developing its own virtual production studios powered by giant LED screens, offering the possibility to produce short or long feature films, music videos, photo shoots, and commercials all in one place; unlike traditional green screens, VPH’s XR technology immerses actors, artists, and producers directly into realistic environments—whether cliffs in the south of France, disused factories, road scenes, or supermarkets—making performances more natural while reducing both time and cost in post-production; this versatility allows directors to switch between multiple locations seamlessly within the same studio, as seen in projects such as the Undiz advertising campaign, and reflects VPH’s simple but powerful concept: a creative space where all virtual production actors are welcome.

For the opening of our Virtual Production House (VPH) studio, we installed a 110 m² LED wall in the Studio du Kremlin at Ivry-sur-Seine, completed in just one week by our technical team, with an additional 18 m² R&D screen integrated into a larger coworking space for audiovisual professionals, creating an open environment for directors, producers, cinematographers, and all visual content creators to bring their imagination to life; since then, VPH has hosted major productions including the Undiz advertising campaign and Les Gars Sûrs directed by Louis Leterrier (known for The Transporter, The Incredible Hulk, and Now You See Me), where XR technology allowed the recording of immersive action sequences—chases, supermarket scenes, or even cliffs in the south of France—making performances more authentic while drastically reducing post-production time and costs, as the same studio could transform into multiple locations, enabling actors to live the action in real time and directors to shoot several radically different scenes without ever leaving the space.

Solution FOR A VIRTUAL PRODUCTION STUDIO

Street Co’ delivered a complete 180 m² turn-key solution by handling every stage of the project, from consulting on the most suitable hardware to meet both budget and customer requirements, through engineering, logistics, transportation, and planning, to on-site installation and programming, ensuring a fully integrated and efficient setup.
