The Zappos store, located in Louisville, Kentucky, inside the Mall St. Matthews, decided to incorporate an I Series P5.2 Interactive LED Floor into their new concept store.

Due to the challenges posed by COVID-19, the project experienced a one-year delay, but the vision remained strong. The client provided CAD drawings of the floor plan, and the primary goal was to use the LED display to enhance product presentation while creating a “Digital 4.0 experience”. This immersive atmosphere was designed to seamlessly complement the rest of the store’s aesthetic, showcasing content that aligned perfectly with the modern store design.

The client’s approach was to advertise products and share brand news in a subtle, non-aggressive style, ensuring the experience was engaging but not overwhelming for shoppers.

The brief was simple and straightforward:

‘What is the best product to create a wahou effect and encourages customers to stay longer in their store.

They also wanted to set themselves apart from all the ‘Deja vu’ luxury concept store.

Solution : CHOOSE AN INTERACTIVE LED FLOOR

Street Co’ provided a full turn-key solution for the project, actively participating in every step of the process:

– Consultation: We worked closely with the client to find the best-suited hardware that fit both the budget and the end-customer’s requirements.

– Engineering: We handled the engineering of the installation, ensuring the LED displays were perfectly integrated into the space.

– Logistics, Transportation, and Planning: Our team managed the entire logistical process, including transportation and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.

– On-Site Installation: We provided on-site installation services, setting up the equipment and ensuring everything was operational.

– Programming: Finally, we handled programming to ensure smooth operation of the system, tailored to the client’s needs.

One of the challenges was working with the curved furniture. We designed a prototype to test the feasibility of the product and ensure it would meet the client’s expectations.

The full project spanned 20m², ensuring a large and immersive digital display experience

Challenge TO SET UP AN INTERACTIVE LED FLOOR

The main challenges during the installation process included:

– Alignment: Ensuring that all the modules were properly aligned to create a seamless display.

– Integration of the Modules: Successfully integrating the individual LED panels and ensuring they functioned together as a cohesive system.

– Size of the Cabinet: Ensuring the cabinet was the right size to accommodate the LED floor while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetics.

Additionally, during the installation, we encountered an issue with the interactive LED floor, as the surface was uneven. Furthermore, a previous installation had been done, which complicated the process. To address the irregularities, we had to use resin or carpet to camouflage the uneven sections, ensuring a smooth and successful final installation
